The kiddo wanted to make some drawings together so he gathered some Crayola markers and printer paper. While he worked on Pokémon drawings, I opted for the Helmet Vanga bird from Madagascar — it looks so striking. I played around with it some more and cute off the top half and placed it on a sheet of yellow construction paper.
It definitely needed that yellow background and I really liked the shadows created from the cutout.
