Read this on the beach and it helped me re-think my workspace among many other things. I’m always chasing after that beautiful, clutter-free IG worthy creative office space. But why? What’s most important is being able to create. Though my desk be tiny and cluttered, I get the job done – my tools are easily accessible. I needed to be reassured that there’s nothing wrong with a desk being a hot mess.
Some other tidbits I took away: “This, too, shall pass.”
“…the men who are hell-bent on wrecking this planet, carving it up for profit like cartoon Lex Luthors – they’re not going to last forever. They are going to leave this place just like us. Also:
“Go easy on yourself and take your time. Worry more about things worth doing. Worry less about being a great artist. Worry more about being a good human being who makes art.”
