I said that there was nothing I needed to buy during tax-free weekend, but I ended up ordering a spare pair of glasses. It’s the same style that I currently wear – the Mensa. I went with the taupe. I considered trying the other styles but the Mensa is just so comfortable.
I’ve stopped wearing my daily contact lenses because they dry my eyes out now. According to my optometrist, it’s probably because I never let my eyes breathe. I would (a) wear them from 7am until 11pm, (b) nap in them from time to time and then (c) I would commit the ultimate sin and wear them while I showered. All those are no-nos.
Anyhow, Covry eyeglasses have been a lifesaver. They fit comfortably on my face (i.e., no hitting my eyelashes or resting on my cheeks) and because of that I don’t get headaches. They feel so good that I don’t even mind wearing them at the beach.
