Neponset River Greenway, Boston MA

In all these years, it just never occurred to us to turn in and explore. We’ve always just driven by the Neponset River Greenway. But that all changed today and let me say that we have been missing out.

There are so many paths to walk, run, bike and – for us – scooter. It’s not too crowded and there’s also a beautiful playground with plenty of benches nearby.

A nice discovery for me was seeing these pillars with illustrations of fish species etched into the stone along with some fun facts. It’s in an area where folks can set up their fishing poles and catch fish.

Some sort of Flounder
Mackerel
Striped Bass

We will definitely be adding this area to our outdoor, green space routine.
