Art Experimenting
I grabbed some watercolor paper and printed one of my bird drawings onto it. It came out nice overall. I just wasn’t happy with the background color. It came out in bands rather than a seamless print of color. Maybe I need to futz around with the printer settings some more or use better inks?
Anyhow, next thing I did was actually paint on it with watercolors. It came out terribly but I think I just need to use a bigger brush or blot the colors on with a sponge which I will try next go around.
Tech Experimenting
I considered upgrading my computer setup with a 2025 M4 Macbook Air but decided not to in the end. The Black Friday sales were tempting, but my 2021 iMac is still functioning well. Plus, I have an HP laptop that the husband got from work over the summer that I’ve just started personalizing. Say no to overconsumption even though I bought two Kipling bags the other week. More bags? Yes. In my defense, they were on sale.
