because of signal issues. Why is it always some sort of signal issue on the Orange line? I saw the estimated time go from 15 minutes to a flashing message stating the train was stopped. The platform was getting super packed and I was pretty sure that if the train pulled in, I probably wasn’t going to be able to get on. But if I did manage to get on, did I want to be squished all the way home?
No.
Thank goodness there’s a Tasty Burger in the subway station. I decided to grab an early dinner and hunker down until the issues cleared up. I parked myself at a booth and enjoyed a cheeseburger (cooked medium), tater tots and a Pepsi Zero – it was SO good.
And by the time I was done, I only had to wait 6 minutes for the train – no crowded platform and there were plenty of seats.
