I wish I could be even more merciless in the way I declutter. However, progress was made. I was able to downsize the number of graphic tees that I’ve collected over the years, removed clothing that keep hanging out in my closet but I never reach for so away they must go and put my art supplies in order.
The hardest part was going through the kiddo’s school work sheets and artwork. I junked most of it. I wish his teachers wouldn’t give us anything at the end of the year other than a certificate that says that they completed their grade. I have more to go through but at least grade two homework and classwork has been cleared.
I’m also junking a storage bench we’ve had for years which the cat has destroyed. It’s time.
My decluttering frenzy inspired the husband and kiddo as well to get to work. With the kiddo, we just have to go slow. We downsized his stuffy collection. Slowly but surely, we’ll make more space. We have to because we live in such a tiny apartment. Space is a premium and I refuse to drown in things. Which reminds me that I need to be more intentional with what I bring in.
Anyhow, the fall/winter clothes are now out and the sprint/summer items have gone into hibernation.
Summer is really gone… 🥲
