Here are some red berries that caught my eye today. I enjoy making compositions with the subject sitting in a prominent space with objects in the foreground framing it to give it more depth and interest.
Working more on backgrounds is something I am trying to get better at – especially as my previous art professors have continued to gently nudge me about not leaving the background bare, which I appreciate.
Anyhow, I love the marks created with this colored pencil Procreate brush from Wendy Xu which I downloaded the other day. I absolutely love it.
