2025 MA Conference for Women

It was a great event to attend — I was most excited to listen to Simone Biles. To be in the same room with 11k other folks and breathing the same air as the goat was enough for me ☺️

9:30AM
Arrived at the convention center. Got off at the Chinatown T stop and then walked. It was enough time for me to poke around and explore. There was a booth with vodka samples and I was there for that. I also stuffed my face with a chocolate frosted donut.

I really liked these totes. Such a gorgeous deep green and simple, strong type. It was the only substantial thing I grabbed aside from a couple lip balms.

10:00AM
The keynote hall opened. There was group meditation, a surprise musical performance and Q&As with notable figures like Simone Biles and Martha Stewart.

1:30PM
I ducked out a bit early so I could hit the restrooms. I was traumatized by the insane wait from last year. It was still a wait but not as bad. This is even when they converted the men’s rooms to women’s. Unfortunately I missed out on the closing keynote by Mel Robbins.

2:00PM
I popped in to the WBUR booth to help out until close. It was great to hear how so many folks love and support us and it was exciting to share what we do with those who weren’t familiar. It was also a nice time to catch up with some of my colleagues.

5:00PM
Time to head home.
