Serious and Wicked Fun Times at The WBUR Festival

This event has been a year in the making and it was wonderful to see it all come together and experience it. So many teams came together to pull this off and it was so satisfying to hear positive responses from the attendees.

The weather was beautiful for day one…not so much for day two with the rain and hurricane force winds – I was literally fighting for my life. But, I think it brought everyone together even more. It was an experience to connect and bond everyone together 🥹

I’ve already got ideas brewing for next year.

The digital design I worked on to promote the event while waiting for the train.
Partnering and working closely with our printers created beautiful collaboration. Great work by my design partner Heather Lapierre!

Got my portrait done by Nick Shea, known for his pop-up portraits at the Boston Common, and enjoyed our conversation.

Screenprinting of artwork by James Weinberg who worked on our commemorative poster.

Enjoyed amazing talks by José Andrés, Jeni Britton, Samantha Power, Celeste Ng, Tristant Walker and many more. I wish I could’ve been at two places at the same time.

And it’s the best when I get to bump into friends like Anita Yip of Project Asian Joy.
