Sometimes, the shuttle buses during the green line shutdown are faster for my commute. For one, I don’t have to walk the two blocks to transfer from the orange line. The shuttle buses are right outside of the orange line station exit and are stacked back to back so I never have to wait for more than a minute for the next one.
The only hiccup is the bus drivers from out of town not knowing the stop names. So, BU Central becomes Boston Central and Copley becomes C-OH-plee.
